Some Quick Ideas to Increase Your Online Lead Generation Within the Next Week

Things aren’t going to be simple or easy in network marketing.

What we have here is a business, an opportunity, and not a guarantee.

The person that markets the best and acts on what they need to do is the one who is able to generate leads the most and sponsors a heck of a lot of people.

Some of us though can be a in a little brain block that causes our thinking to go a little too haywire.

Because of the internet and increased technology, we all suffer from information overload.

If you don’t handle it properly and are able to sort between what matters and what doesn’t, it could cause some really bad results for you and your business.

Working on your time management and productivity is a must and something you should seriously work on.

But, at the end of the day, if you’re not sure how to market, it doesn’t matter.

Article marketing is a fantastic place to start.

You came across this article didn’t you?

If you can put together unique content and market it to the right crowd, you can get exposure not just for you which will brand you but exposure for your business which means sponsors and serious cash.

Now, this article isn’t about all the different techniques and methodologies of EXACTLY how you’re supposed to market and what you’re supposed to do.

This is about some unique ideas from one marketer to another that you can take action on that will help you start generating leads and taking names in this industry fairly quickly.

Them alone will not help you create stability but it will put you on the right track on getting exposure and you can work on it from there.

Here’s just a few:

- Create your own blog, get a great template, plugins, etc…, and write some posts. Then, interview a network marketer that you know who is doing very well for themselves that also has their own blog or website, on your blog. This will create backlinks and also give you free exposure, which not just benefits you but your blog and leads generation.

- Run a contest to give away something of great value (free ebook, free course, consultation, etc) and have some business partners of yours help spread the word through their social networks.

- Open a Twitter account (twitter is a must) and share informative and valuable tweets (messages) and establish yourself as a true leader. Don’t forget to be yourself and throw in some things going on in your life as well. Once you have a decent amount of followers (you can get several/day with very little work), post an article about the power of Twitter and some quick tactics you can implement to fully utilize twitter.

Post this article to the home based business category and shoot it out to top article directories and sites with your twitter link. Depending on the uniqueness and actionable information, people will see that it’s a great time for them to start “tweeting” and sign up to twitter while following you.

You provided the link remember?

These are just a few unique ideas that you can apply to your online business and start to see your results go up and up in your online lead generation.

Remember, the one who thinks the best and markets the best is the one who gets the best results!

How To Build A List Without An Autoresponder

I know, that title right there may sound a little misleading. But it isn’t. I have nothing against email autoresponders — I’ve used them myself. For donkey years. But then in the end, I canceled them all. Why? Because they didn’t work for me anymore. I’m sure they do for some Gurus (bow) — and maybe you, but let’s face it, have you checked the amount of SPAM hitting your inbox lately? Or aren’t you getting spammed? Lucky for you if you’re not. No offense, but every download, every info product, wants you to opt-in to their list – first. Have you noticed that? Or is it just me? This article will look at a growing marketing trend that if applied with tact, can well be your ideal alternative to email marketing.

So, with all of that stacked up against you (and by all means it isn’t your fault), what is the likelihood of your mail being actually opened and read by everybody on your list? You go figure! I’ll tell you this, I don’t read anybody’s mail (I’m referring to the opt-in type mail as mentioned above). I read what I like to call REAL mail from REAL people — friends, business partners, associates, clients etc, and NOT mail from people trying to sell me something every day of the week. I know I’m not alone here, so I won’t even bother to defend myself. This is what MOST people on lists do. My inbox has over 1,000 emails at any given time. If I read all of that gunk I wouldn’t be in business because I wouldn’t have any time left to do anything else. So where does that leave us … the internet marketer struggling to make a buck online via building a list to pitch products and services to?

In Summary: I think you already know where I’m going with this. There’s gotta be another way, right? And there is. Twitter, the new social networking phenomena, is quietly building online marketers the lists they want in whatever niche they’re in, but the difference with Twitter is that your followers (opt-in list) actually read your Tweets (messages). I’ve picked up some great information on Twitter, and I’m building relationships with some really nice people on Twitter. Whoever invented this social network is a genius. I’m launching a novel on March 25th 2009 … exclusively on Twitter. So you can imagine. The potential to thrive on the Internet is well within your grasp if you Tweet! Forget autoresponders, they’re obsolete! Or so it seems.

We all know what a pest autoresponder mail that arrives in your inbox can be. It gets pretty overwhelming at times, especially considering the amount of products that are out there. Almost all websites giving away an e-book or information for free will ask you for your personal information (i.e. your name and email). And that’s just for them to part with a product or information for free. In other words, you’ve got to give to get. Or so the saying goes. In the end, there’s a heck of a lot of lists you find yourself subscribed to, some with good content, and some with the obvious … useless content. I’m not here to knock list-building itself as a lead-generation strategy, I just wanted to bounce off an idea that is working for a lot of online marketers and that is getting more and more effective by the day; and that doesn’t involve emailing anybody anything. Building a list without an autoresponder is perfectly viable when you use Twitter to build your list and to get the word out. It is addictive, and that in itself somewhat guarantees readership far more than email can at this point in time. Well, given the circumstances. So, to grow your business in a volatile marketplace where email is getting more and more difficult for recipients to cope with, be sure to try out Twitter. But make sure you don’t SPAM their system, Twitter will boot you out so fast.

Social Networking: Easy Peasy Lead Generation

Everywhere you look, people are talking about Web 2.0, social networking, Twitter, Facebook, Tweetdeck or Twhirl, to name a few.

There’s even a whole new Twitcabulary: tweets, tweeples, retweets, twitpics, etc. which can make things seem a lot more complicated.

Here’s the skinny on social networking. . .

Social networking using sites like Twitter and Facebook are an AMAZING way to build relationships, connect with others and yes, even generate leads.

My friend, mutual client and Mastermind buddy Nancy Marmolejo is phenomenal at social networking and building relationships online.

I highly recommend you follow her and read her blog in order to both learn a ton and have great fun!

5 simple ways to make lead generation “easy peasy” by combining social marketing with things you’re already doing (gotta love that repurposing!).

1. Link your Twitter and Facebook accounts so whenever you post to Twitter, Facebook is updated.

2. Link your blog to each Twitter, Linked In and Facebook so whenever you post a new item, the 3 separate sites will share the title and a link back to it automatically.

3. Link your Ezine Articles account to Twitter so whenever a new article is accepted, it will update Twitter (and therefore Facebook) with the title and a link back to it automatically.

4. Schedule “tweets” to go out offering great tips daily. I send out quotes and repurposing tips, my co-host in Raw Professionals Online, Karen Knowler sends out “Successfully Raw Daily Bites” – what will you do?

5. Create a “tweet ring” with those who you admire and complement your business.

Just imagine the amount of people your articles and posts are now reaching! Your friends, friends of friends, complete strangers – all are now exposed to your information AND given a link where they can learn more and sign up for your list.

It’s important to note that the above is a supplement to participating in actual conversations and chatting with others and is not a substitute for the “social” aspect of “social networking”.

I like to think of it as a big party with a ton of great people and interesting conversations that I can pop in and out of based on my schedule – and I don’t even have to “dress up”.

Make It Real: My Request To You

If you haven’t yet set up a Twitter and Facebook account, run, don’t walk, to Twitter.com and Facebook.com – there’s no cost and they can be set up in minutes (seriously, you can tweak things later).

And then implement items 1 – 5 above in order to maximize your social networking presence and easily repurpose all that article writing you’ve been doing!

If you know you need to get everything set up and linked together, but it’s not your passion or desire to futz about with the techy stuff, check out my new Social Networking: Done 4 You service here and let my team handle all the details while you simply chat.

Talk about “easy peasy”. . . :-)

Social Networking Microblogging Tool Become Marketing Success

The social marketing tool, Twitter is one of the latest and greatest Web 2.0 tools out there. People who join this social networking microblogging tool often become so addicted that they use it constantly. They have it on their computer as well as on their cell phone and they spend hours on it having discussions and for more detail go to: www.greatblogbox.com.  “tweeting” with others. This makes the tool ideal for those who want to sell something online. Internet marketers love social media tools for the potential new clients they can bring.

But there are myths associated with this tool that those who want to use it for internet marketing need to know. Here are three popular misconceptions about using Twitter to sell your ware.
Not everyone will follow you. You can target people by looking up people with specific keywords but you have to appear to be interesting in order to get followed. If your username or bio look too spammy, people won’t be interested.

People often look at the quality of someone’s tweets before they do follow them so keep that in mind and if you’ve been using Twitter for a while look at the last ten tweets you have posted and consider whether you appear follow-worthy to potential followers or not.

Myth#2: You might think that following a large number of users is a wise decision but when you look at your profile and see that you have a handful of followers but are following hundreds or thousands of other Twitter users, you won’t look very appealing. Striving for a balance of having more people follow you than you are following makes you look Twitter worthy to potential followers.

Controversy might get you a bunch of people visiting your regular blog because people often want to see a good flame war but on Twitter, it gets old real fast. If you start getting too opinionated or too political, people will tire of your tweets really fast. Those who pump out too many social bookmarking requests or don’t appear to be willing to participate but want people following them instead will appear to be a selfish twitterer. You also don’t want to be too brash on this tool or you’ll see your follower numbers quickly dwindle.

Twitter is a great tool to get noticed. If you’re interesting, people will re-tweet your tweets and follow your requests for a Stumble or Digg. If you integrate it with other social bookmarking tools it can also make it more interesting for your followers as well.

The thing with Twitter is that you want to be followed and so you need to be follow-worthy. Be interesting, provide value and reciprocate. For more help visit to: www.profit-pulling-toolbars.com.  Be funny, witty, charming and you can even be sarcastic or silly once in a while but strive for a balance that makes you interesting enough to keep following. Just like a friend’s antics can get old real fast in the real world, a Twitter friend can get tiring as well if they do too much of one thing and not enough of just being interesting or entertaining.

For marketers who strike the right balance on this tool, they can get more buyers, sell more widgets, learn more interesting tips in their industry and maximise their social marketing experience so that it does benefit them but those that try to cheat the system or exploit it won’t have much effect for long.

Internet Marketing Strategy: No Job, Need to Make Money – Part 1

Over the last year, I have seen many of my family and friends go from the entrepreneurial perspective of wanting to build multiple funnels of income on the side, to losing their jobs and needing to make money NOW.  Businesses have closed, jobs have been eliminated, but there are still mortgages to pay and groceries to buy.

I can’t fix the economy and I can’t bring back all of those jobs, but I have a few ideas that can help put folks back on the right track.  I have a few strategies and nuggets of advice to help get you out there where people can find you and bring opportunity to you, if that’s what you want.

Since I specialize in online marketing strategies, my ideas usually require access to a computer and a working internet connection.  If the internet service has had to be canceled so that money could go toward house payments, I surely understand.  Perhaps you have an inexpensive internet café in the area where you could go periodically, or a local hotel lobby computer you could use.  Of course, when asking to use free internet resources – and when looking for income opportunities – I highly recommend presenting yourself cleanly, professionally, and with the graceful ability to take “no” for an answer.  How you handle yourself when you hear the word “no” can make a big difference in whether people keep you in mind for other opportunities.

So, you have access to a computer with an internet connection.  You need to equip yourself with two things:

  • A free internet e-mail account
  • A www.Twitter.com account

These two things are the foundation of your internet networking infrastructure.  It’s where everything begins.

An internet e-mail account is crucial for many reasons.  Almost every internet site, every online form you fill out, every opportunity to get in on the free information requires that you give an e-mail address so you can:

  1. Be sent the information
  2. Help the website stay in legal compliance by proving that you really requested the information that they’re sending you (proving that they’re not sending you “spam”).
  3. Send you any opportunities that may interest you – you don’t want to miss out on an idea or event that could get you that next job or make you more money.

You’ve heard of internet “spam”, of course.  If you’re really worried about it, open two free e-mail accounts – one for your personal and professional correspondence and one that you leave on websites that send you information.

There are many free internet e-mail services, so having two e-mail addresses won’t cost you a thing.  I have personally used www.mail.com for years, and have found their internet e-mail service to be reliable and very easy-to-use.

Also, using an internet e-mail service is portable – you can log in to your e-mail address from any computer that has internet access.

A Twitter account is the way to network with people who have ideas and information that you want.  You’ve heard about it on the news, and you might be wondering why people put so much stock into a website where everyone just writes a sentence or two about what they’re doing right now.  You might also be wondering how Twitter is different from other sites where people do the same thing:  type a few sentences about what they’re doing right now.

Here’s the big difference – the difference that can open doors for you

Other networking sites like Facebook and MySpace are mostly for people to talk, but not to advertise, unless they’re intentionally buying ad space.  Those sites have a complicated set of rules regarding what you can advertise and how you can advertise it – even when you have a legitimate, legal business or offer.  Twitter THRIVES on the independent marketing community.  Twitter is an exchange of links, ideas, and opportunities where its members are encouraged to point their friends to new opportunities.

On Twitter, you can put yourself out there, without talking, without interviewing, and without cutting into your time pursuing other money-making avenues.  Let’s say you were just laid off from your job at the plastics factory, and you’re looking for a new job.  You could post on Twitter, “Lost my injection molding job in Elgin, IL.  Looking for a new job.

There are people on Twitter doing searches on keywords that will find you, and perhaps follow you on Twitter.  Maybe there is an HR person at another plastics factory nearby who is on Twitter, and every day he does a search on the keywords “injection molding”.  Your post about losing your job in injection molding would pop up in his search.  He might send you a message to let you know he’s interviewing.

You can use Twitter keyword searching, too.  You can do that keyword search on “injection molding”, and start to follow other Twitter users that look like they have the same interests as you.

The larger your Twitter network, the greater your chances of finding your next money-making opportunity.  I hope you’ll add me to your list – I like to post about new online marketing strategies and information about the online market makers that invent it all.  My Twitter ID is JJ_DigiMM.

You don’t want people to sell anything to you?  No problem.  You can pick and choose what you read.  Here’s what’s in it for you:  you can market on Twitter, too.

You don’t have a product?  You don’t like to sell things?  No problem.  I’ll have suggestions for that, too, in my next installment.  In the meantime, there are a lot more free articles on internet marketing on www.DigiMarketMakers.com and the Online Market Makers Blog: www.OnlineMarketMakersBlog.com.

By putting your internet networking infrastructure in place, you’re setting the stage for finding ways to bring money back into your household.

Stay positive and start building.
