As Bloggers we all know that the life blood of your blog is content. This content includes the posts written by the blog owner and all of the comments made by readers.

It is this unique content that causes our blogs to rank higher with the search engines. As our blogs rank higher the amount of traffic we get increases which benefits our blogs.

If you are an experience blogger you already know that a really good way to get comments on your blog is to comment on other peoples blogs. Commenting on other dofollow blogs also gives our blog back links and the search engines like back links.

One of the problems is where can you find quality DoFollow blogs to comment on. Especially for someone knew to blogging this is a challenge.

New Blog Directory

I would like to introduce you to a new Blog Directory YouDofollow.com.

The YouDoFollow blog directory was created by Christian Hollingsworth of SmartBoyDesigns.com.

Go over to Christian’s post about his new directory at DoFollow Blogs For Bloggers.

Why YouDoFollow?

The new YouDoFollow directory will be a place where quality dofollow blogs will be gathered together. These blogs will then be manually approved and checked for the dofollow quality.

What Is In It For The Blogger?

It is important to get quality backlinks. In order to do this you need to find quality blogs that are dofollow.

Christians new directory will act as a great resource for Quality DoFollow Blogs.

This will be a place to go and find blogs to comment on that are dofollow and will give you a backlink to a quality blog.

Take Action

Go over to YouDofollow.com and submit your blog for approve.
Look around the site and find some great blogs to post comments on.
Promote the YouDofollow blog directory so others will find out about it.

Thank you kindly for your strong support of the directory. We’re getting lots of submissions at the moment, and even the ones that aren’t dofollow, I’m working with those blog owners to get them to that point so they can be approved.

I think it is great that you developed a directory of quality blogs that are dofollow.

In the url area – I put in my blog and I get an error underneath that url section that says “Please fix this field” – I tried to submit again and still get that message, I am not sure what is going on.

I’ll 2nd that Dee Ann! Thanks for supporting Christian’s new directory.

I really believe for all those blogs that want to receive some link love and meet new bloggers, this is a great directory just for that. As he has already mentioned, it’s becoming very popular but at the same time, some of these bloggers are learning that they don’t have their blog set up as a dofollow blog. Christian is taking the time to help them resolve that though. I know it’s filling up fast.

I think Christian’s idea of a blog directory where all blogs are dofollow is great.

I also think it is very nice of Christian to take the time to help the bloggers who do not have their blogs set up right and resolve the issues. I know that is time consuming.

Dee Ann – This is a wonderful idea, i infact submited my site to the directory, but somehow my disqus commenting system prevents it from being a DoFollow website. I am waiting to win the Premium CommentLuv plugin at Adrienne’s site before moving over to it

Have you tried other plugins to make your site dofollow?

Dee Ann – Thanks for the reply, yes, I have installed the other plugins, but somehow only my comment system is not turned on for DoFollow. Also I am having some issues with my theme to switch over to CommentLuv, working on that.

You might try another theme. Sometimes themes will cause conflicts.

I actually found this site through that directory. I think it is really cool that someone took the time to put it together.Although it feels really selfish to seek out a blog just because it has dofollow links. At the same time though it is another way of finding content that I may not normally be able to find. So, I guess it balances out.

I don’t know that it is selfish to look for blogs that will benifit you as well as them.

Normally though I do not look to see if the blogs that I am commenting on are dofollow or nofollow. I just comment. So, I guess I kind of do both.

I do think Christian has a good idea though.

I was over at Christian’s new site – think it is a great way to get your blog noticed. I don’t see mine there, though…forget if I actually put it there or was going to or maybe he denied it.

I submitted my blog there before and I was approved I think. It is a great place as long as Christian keeps moderating it closely. I think that will take a great deal of his time. But I can imagine the rewards. Huge of quality DoFollow blogs… It is really worth it!

Yes wordpress is set to automatically nofollow.

There are a number of plugins that you can use in order to make it dofollow. Some are free and some are not.

Check you my posts Dofollow or Nofollow That Is The Question! and CommentLuv Premium Goes Live for more information on making you site dofollow and plugins that will do it for you . I would recommend the CommentLuv Premium plugin as it is a really great plugin and well worth money you spend on it. If you get it before the end of November you will get it for a discounted price.
