Outstanding Bloggers

April 29, 2014 | By Dee Ann Rice

Blog commenting is a vital part of blogging in many different ways.

Blog commenting not only gets traffic back to your blog, it also gets you noticed in the blogging community because you are actively networking with other people.

Networking with others it really where it is at in blogging. I think it is the main reason for blogging. As I said in my post on “Is Blogging A Business?“, blogging is not really a business. Blogging is more like a billboard where we advertise ourselves or our business.

The better we are at advertising ourselves the more traffic we will drive to our actual business, whatever that may be.

I think your ability to blog comment and how you blog comment definitely affects how well your billboard or blog stands out.

I Am Not A Good Example Right Now

In the recent past I have not been a great blog commenter so I am not a very good example of a person who is doing this well at the moment.

Recently I have had so much going on off line that I have found it very difficult to get much done on my blog. I have made an attempt to write a post every week but have even failed at that the past two weeks.

A couple of weeks ago I found out that my 25 year old son has a malignat brain tumor so I just did not feel like writing anything for a while. We are figuring out what to do about it and I am sure he will make it through this so I am back again.

Good Examples

During all of this time that I have not been able to get much done myself I have had several very loyal commenters. These people are definitely people you want to be following because they are doing what I wish I could even though I am not commenting back.

I would definitely purchase what these people have to sell as they are not just commenting on blogs that comment on theirs. They have commented on my blog thoughout this time when I have not been commenting and definitely stand out in my mind in the blogging community.

Loyal Blog Commenters

Adrienne is a master at networking. Her people skills are fenominal. I have always admired what she is able to accomplish with her blog.

Adrienne and I met doing the same course a number of years ago. We kind of started at the same point but Adrienne has taken her blogging to levels I only dream of.

maxwell ivey

Max is a person I met on line several months back. Max is a blind blogger. This in itself amazes me. I struggle to blog well and I can see. Max does it blind.

Max is also in a very difficult niche. He sells carnival rides. I love reading his posts as I always find out something new.

Through all of these very difficult situations Max has made himself and his blog a valuable asset to the blogging community.

I said above that I would definitely buy what my loyal blogger were selling but I don’t think I am in the market for a carnival ride right now. Max is definitely a blogger to follow and watch what he is doing.

Jeevan Jacob John

Jeevan is also a blogger I met blogging some time ago. His blog is full of hints and tips about blogging. I have found many great tidbits of information here.

Ashley Faulkes

Ashley has a blog that gives advice on all sorts of blogging issues. He has great information on his blog that is well worth taking the time to look at.

Ashley also does podcasts and has recently done a podcast about Max Ivey which is quite interesting.

Prakash has a blog about all sorts of android apps that you can download.

Ashvini’s blog is about building a business. He is also the developer of ShareJuicePro which you have heard me talk about in some of my posts. It is a great piece of software that is well worth checking out.

Why These Bloggers Standout

I have not had many comments on my blog recently since I have not been able to get many comments made on other peoples blogs but, these bloggers have faithfully come and commented on most all of my posts.

I was so amazed when they just kept coming back. I have shared some of why I have not been able to be online as much but most people have just stopped coming by. I really do not blame them. I might have done the same thing.

These bloggers have done what others don’t though and in doing that they stand out from the crowd.

If you want to make it in a very competative situation like marketing online you have to do something that makes you stand out from the crowd. It does not have to be commenting on a post where the bloggers is not commenting on yours but it does have to be something others will not do.

My hat goes off to these bloggers. I want to thank each one of them for coming and commenting at my blog when I was not commenting on theirs.

What about you?

Do you stand out from the crowd? What is it you do that others do not do?

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think or say “Hi”. I really do miss all of my blogging buddies and am really trying to get back to commenting on a regular basis.

If you find this post interesting or useful could you please share it with your friends. Thank you.

Hey Dee Ann,

I know that life gets in the way but I also look at you as one of my good friends. I want to support you even though I know you’re not able to do much online at the moment.

I know you’re dealing with Nicolas’ illness right now and to me that’s so much more important then worrying about visiting my blog. I always appreciate the support as you know but to me it’s about the relationships that we’re able to form. That’s so much more important then a comment so just know that I’m here for you Dee Ann. I wish you the best and I know that things will eventually even out for you and the family.

Thank you again for the mention and you have a safe trip okay! Talk to you when you get back.

I know I am really late getting her to reply. I am sorry about that.

As you know already Nicolaas is well thanks to a miraculous healing. When I wrote this post I thought he would die and that was not a fun time.

I really do appreciate everyone who has continued to support me though my being missing in action for the last couple of months.

Thank you for stopping by and for your comment.

Hi Dee Ann,
I saw your post in my Triberr stream and I’m always looking for new bloggers to learn from. So, I stopped by and too my surprise, I recognize all six of them and often visit their blogs. That made me smile because it helps reassure me that I’m headed on the right track when it comes to building relationships.

It’s good to be back here. I’ll have to come over here more often.

I am sorry for not getting here to leave a reply before this. My spring has been crazy but I am back blogging now. I hope to get started commenting now.

When I wrote this post my son was very sick and most possibly dieing. Today thanks to a miraculous healing he is well.

I really appreciate you stopping by and commenting on my post. I will be over to your blog soon to reciprocate.

Thank you again.

Dee Ann,
I’m so sorry to hear that your son was so sick. That’s wonderful news that he’s healing so well! You did exactly what you should have done – put your son, your family (and hopefully yourself) first. Your blog can wait. This past year, I’ve cut back a little on blogging (and networking online). My AHA! moment was when my grand-baby went home after a lovely visit with my husband and daughter while I was “blogging”. Life is too short!

Don’t worry about popping over to reciprocate. I appreciate the thought but you must have a lot of catching up to do. I’ll see what I can do about sharing some of your posts a little more to try to help you get some traction back. :)

Take care,

That would bother me also if my grandchildren were to come and I spent all of my time on the internet. There has to be a balance. It seems like we just need to spend so much time doing this if we are to make it but family has to come first.

We are all so happy that Nicolaas is healthy now. There were alot of scarey moments when he was sick. I think back on that now and it does not even seem real. It was such a strange time in our lives.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.
