My 1st Year Blogging

One year ago I published my 1st post on my blog after I had deleted the entire blog a couple of weeks earlier.  I had only written 3 or 4 posts previous to deleting it and managed to retrieve them.  I did repost these posts and back dated them.

It is hard to believe that I have been doing this for a year.

I don’t know a better way to end one year and start another than to have the privilege of being nominated as the recipient of the “Sunshine Award” by three fellow bloggers.

During the last few days of 2011  Adrienne Smith, Barry Wells and Randy Smith nominated me to be the recipient of the “Sunshine Award”.

Have you ever wondered how people get smiley faces in their blog posts or comments?

Maybe I am the only one who does not know how to do this.

I know it is really a simple concept.  I sometimes find the most obvious things are the things that so easily stump me.  I have put smileys many other places, but putting them into my posts and comments seemed overwhelming.
